Isabel was born in the mainland of Australia in Melbourne. Her mother is Swiss and her father is Australian. Her family has lived in Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a tiny mining community located in the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia as well as Jabiru in Switzerland. Together with Nina, her younger sister Nina she went to schools that included First Nations children as well as students from different countries. Isabel currently lives at Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel was a performer in her school. In the following years, she studied at The Queensland University of Tech (Victorian College of Arts) as well as the Perdekamp Emotional Method. In 2002, her agent realized that she'd never performed in a play prior to. She auditioned to play an actress on the show Home and Away. They thought that she was not suitable to play the role. But, they were still impressed by her performance and awarded Tasha a brand new role. In the following three years playing her first TV role and was awarded a Logie Award. In 2008, Isabel relocated to Los Angeles. Her breakout role was with Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). In the time since she has appeared in and won awards in numerous US productions, as and Australian productions. Recently, Isabel appeared in the award-winning Bosh & Rockit (Ocean Boy) the film which quickly becoming an Australian classic and in the soon to be released film Lunacy. Isabel has wrapped Sons of Summer recently and is currently in preproduction to play Marie Curie's character in Radiant, a film by the award-winning writer/director Annika Glac.
